Before bringing your car to dyno, please print this out and go over each line of this checklist to ensure a smooth dyno session.


ALL CARS

  • Fluids topped off (not overfilled!)
  • Fuel tank full of type of fuel to be used.
  • No fluid leaks
  • Spark Plugs in good condition. Spare plugs recommended.
  • Coolant is bled. Radiator fans installed and working.
  • Tunable ECU
  • Clutch capable of the desired power level
  • Alternator in good health
  • Battery in good health.
  • All sensors reading and in good health
  • No major check engine lights
  • Engine harness in good shape
  • Clean grounds for harness


FORCED INDUCTION CARS

  • Components protected from heat from turbo/exhaust
  • Boost leak test passed.
  • Boost controller is properly plumbed and wired.
  • Wastegate correctly plumbed
  • Correct wastegate spring selected.
  • Blow off valve set up correctly. Not leaking air.
  • Fuel pump, injectors and lines suitably sized for target power.
  • All vacuum hoses in good condition. All ends secured correctly.
  • Ignition system capable of supporting target power level.
